Dr Junaid Rahman has made a name for himself as the nodal officer and Superintendent of General Hospital, Ernakulam, for achieving NABH Accreditation making it the first Government Hospital to get accredited. He is instrumental in attaining the present status of General Hospital, Ernakulam, which is the role model for all hospitals in the country. He has made presentations regarding Quality in hospitals in various states of the country.
He retired as District Medical Officer, Ernakulam following which he was the Medical Director and Special Officer of Cochin Medical College. Presently Dr Junaid is the Medical Director of Sree Sudheendra Medical Mission, Ernakulam. He was the past State President of Kerala Government Medical Officers Association and Indian Academy of Paediatrics.
